Marijin Dvor
The modern business district: the National Museum, the Holiday hotel, the Parliament and the Twist Tower.
Marijin Dvor grew up around a single Austro-Hungarian residential block named after its builder's wife. During the siege its avenue became known as "Sniper Alley". Today it is the city's administrative and business hub, with the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the History Museum, Café Tito and the country's parliament.
