Bistrik
A steep, quiet mahala across the Miljacka with the old brewery, the cable car station and the best sunset views.
Bistrik climbs the south bank of the Miljacka from the Latin Bridge towards Trebević. It is home to the Sarajevska pivara brewery (founded 1864 and still drawing water from its own spring), the lower station of the Trebević cable car, and narrow lanes of houses with gardens full of plum trees. It is the calmest base close to the centre.
