Trebević
Sarajevo's house mountain — a 12-minute cable car ride to pine forests, the graffiti-covered Olympic bobsleigh track and views over the valley.
Trebević (1,627 m) was the city's favourite weekend escape before the war, then a front line. The cable car reopened in 2018 and now carries you from Bistrik to the upper station at 1,164 m in minutes. From there, trails lead to the abandoned 1984 Olympic bobsleigh and luge track, mountain lodges and the Pino Nature Hotel.
